Dimensions for Sub Enclosure

Wondering if any1 knows the dimensions for a Orion h2 15.2 sub ported box?

sub is run by a Orion xtr2250 amp if that helps.

hey do any of you know where i can find info on older orion subs mostly the hcca 10 d 4 ohm an xtr3 10 d4 ohm i think they are from the 99-03 years i can get pics of them if it will help . thanks

i have four orion hcca 15's subwoofer and i want to build a wall but if orion is saying dont face them forward then did i waste my money buy four subwoofers

But i was just wander if any one here knows the reall true limits of the Orion Hcca 10" black woofer because i have one and i have already tried it on 4,000 watts "RMS" is there any way it "could" Be pushed past the specs and the owners Expectations on its limits?

I had gotten two 10" Orion Cobalts, but I have no idea what year they are. I've used them in a ported enclosure in my bedroom as a mini setup for some beat untill I can get them reconed from PSi or PAP. They are in great condition other than one woofer has a hole in the dustcap from the previous owner, which I have fixed. (
And a hole in the surround that I also fixed because cats just love subwoofer :smooooth: ) So f I can get a year and specs on these woofers please help.

I have an Orion XTR 1001 amp and looking for a 12 inch sub to go with this amp. I am looking at the Orion XTR PRO 12 dual 4 ohm. I would like to know how reliable they are these days. Anyone had any problems with these? Also are their a SQ sub or a SPL sub.:cool:

Ok, currently I have 2 Orion Xtr 15's. and they are great, but recently i have been really wanting a change, so my idea is to have a large custom box made to house 2 Orion 12.2 Hcca's (which I am considering buying) and my current 2 15s, and the only logical way i figure to put it is facing upward. Now I am no wiz at this at all so that's why I need some help. Answers to questions like 'is this a dumb idea?' 'will this even work?' 'is there still a way the box could be ported?' or other questions or advice similar to those would be much appreciated.

Does anyone have a PDF file for these woofers. I seem to recall the woofers being recommended in a vented & tuned enclosure, but I was wanting to put them in a sealed box. Any ideas, anyone? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Question about my new subs

I plan on purchasing 2 new subs, the Orion XTR PRO 10" 4 ohm, but I'm not sure what amplifier will work great for these. I plan on putting them in a trunk with maybe a sealed or ported box. I will also be needing an amp for my door and rear panel speakers which are Pioneer Premier TS-D520C 5.25" component set and 4 Pioneer Premier TS-D402P 4" door speakers, with the head unit as a Pioneer DEH-P710BT Premier CD Receiver or Sony Xplod CDX-GT930UI.

Purchased 2 12" cobalt subs in a box for son for xmas. He is now looking to put grilles over them to protect them in his trunk (he is 17 and needs them). Looking on internet, found many to choose from, but nothing that states "for Orion", just universals. Has anyone bought grilles that fit without drilling extra holes in his box?

I have a 2005 yukon and 2 Orion H2 12" and I want to fit them behind my 3rd row seat what is the best air space for them since I am working with such a small area for ported and sealed I will be putting about 1500 watts to each.

i need help choosing one Orion 10in sub..... my budget is $400 for both the sub and the amp. i dont know what would be good for me and whats not. i want it to hit hard but not take every penny i have. im looking to spend 200 dollars on a sub and 200 on an amp. i have a box already. any suggestions

right now i run 2 15inch "......" gana keep the name to myself.

im looking to get 2 hcca orion 15" subs

all the inside speakers, doors,dash, so forth

4 6/9's

and 1 5000 watt hcca class d amp.

now would this be a kick *** setup to run in a custom wall in my 2000 gmc jimmy 4 door?

to power all of this would be a 250 amp alt,3 batts and 0/1 gauge wire and 4 gauge wire into the amps.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK ASAP looking to get this new setup fast]

there wanting to charge me $3700 for the subs,amp,and custom box that a good deal?

I have two 15" xtr3 dvc subs and no music comes out. The coils(all of them) measure 0 ohms so they are all open but the the speaker is not "froze", is there a way to fix the coils?

I just hooked up two jl 10w6 to an Orion extrpro 1000 and the jl's ripped around the foam/paper line...pathetic. I've heard so much about those woofers and now I'm seriously considering the 10" 104 and hoping for long term results.

Can anyone compare these two for spl and/or sql. Also, will these subs be able to handle the power full time?... any info is appreciated
